General Info
I was born in Longyan, which is a small city in the southwest corner of Fujian Province and rich in coal and limestone. I finished my primary school and middle school there. In 2000, the first year of the 21th centry, I went to Fudan University, majoring in Computer Science and Technology. Luckily, I continued my study as a PhD student at Fudan after 4 years.
Currently, my research focuses on the applications of machine learning methods, especially on the semantic information extraction of videos. And my wish is to change the experiments in the labs into the products in our lives.
I've got a lot of hobbies: BBS, ball games(basketball, badminton, table tennis), watching movies and some entertaiment TV programs, playing some computer games, cooking. Going to KTV is also my interest, though I sings horribly. I've tried skii once, and I like this exicting but little hurtful sport. ^_^
